Honey & Molasses with BBQ Dry Rub

Ingredients:
5 lbs. pork ribs*

Dry Rub:
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoons chili powder
3 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons black pepper
3 tablespoons sea salt

Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup plain BBQ sauce
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons ground cumin
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
2. In a medium size mixing bowl combine all ingredients for fry rub. Rub the ribs thoroughly with mixture.
3. Place ribs on 2 baking sheets and slow roast in oven for 4-5 hours. The longer you roast the ribs the better just don’t let them dry out.
4. In another mixing bowl combine ingredients for the sauce and preheat your charcoal grill.
5. Place the ribs over medium heat. Let grill for at least an hour. But again the longer the better.
6. Brush your sauce mixture over the ribs just a few minutes before you pull them off the grill.
7. Serve remaining BBQ sauce on the side.

* This recipe will work for both beef or pork ribs
